A new luxury watch brand ambassador has spoken of how her Omega watch reflects her own set of values over the past ten years.
                                             
Zhang Ziyi attended the recent opening of an Omega watch boutique at the ION Orchard shopping mall in Singapore.

She also launched a new Omega watch line-up at the event with the introduction of the 2009 Constellation Collection.

Ms Ziyi says: "The values of Omega – credibility, achievement and pioneering spirit – are what I have devoted myself to for the past ten years."

She adds that she is happy to work with the luxury watchmaker in China, where it has operated since 1895 and is a well respected brand.
                                            
The new ambassador is known to film fans for roles such as Jen in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and as a blind dancer in House of Flying Daggers.

Speaking to Channel News Asia at the opening of the new boutique,Omega president Stephen Urquhart noted the importance of Singapore as a market for premium watches, adding that Omega in particular has a strong presence in the region.
